Recent Creighton High School graduate and Bulldog football player, Travis Tyler, will play on the North Team in the 61st annual Shrine Bowl game Saturday, June 1, at Ron and Carol Cope Stadium Foster Field on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Game time is 2 p.m.

The annual Shrine Bowl Parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the corner of Railroad Street and Central Avenue, known as “the bricks” because of the classic brick road that runs through the area. The parade route will continue to First Street from Central Avenue, on to 24th Street, ending back at Railroad Street. The parade will feature music of the All-Star Masonic Marching Band, as well as parade units from all three Nebraska Shrine temples.

Tyler has been in Kearney this week, participating in pre-game camp and activities.
